For anyone in the Bay Area who may be interested, Quan Yin has been able to entice three different MDs from their liver unit to do hcv workshops on their specialties -

Next Saturday, October 21st, Natalie Bzowej (my doctor) is going to talk about interferon treatment and answer questions also.

On November 4th, Stewart Cooper, MD, is going to talk about Emerging Therapies (i.e., protease inhibitors, etc.). I heard him talk about this at the conference and it was very life affirming and hopeful. It was really great to hear how hard people are working out there to help us.

In December, Raphael Merriman of USF will present on Fatty Liver (NASH).

It would be great to meet any of you in person. We could have a real, rather than cyber, hug. And Tracey, it's okay, I know you can't make it.
