    Tiffany,

I'm so sorry to hear that the treatment was derailed by additional medical problems.

Please do not give up hope... just stay healthy and keep your spirits up... and I'm sure that all will work out fine.

    Stay Stong and Big Hugs,
    T

      Dont give up Tiffany,
If at first you dont succede, try try again. When your body is strong again, start treatment over again. At least this didnt happen way far into treatment which would have made it harder for you to accept and deal with. Keep posting! You are a part of us here and we appreciate you. We are all in your corner.
      Hugs,

I went through a similar experience, wound up in the hospital for three days. In my case it was decided it was just to dangerous to put me back on the treatment at a later date. Of course I had been through treatment twice before with no response so that may have weighed in on my Dr.s (plural) decesion. I would have a serious talk with your Dr. and see if you can go back on if not what options are available...Hang in there I know how it feels.

      Hi Tiffany,

I am so sorry to hear about your difficulties. You are such a trouper.

Don't despair! There are lots of things you can do. There are all kinds of treatments on the horizon, many of which are alot less toxic than interferon/dreaded ribaviron. Protease prohibitors are in trials and a new drug called Vertex. There is also a chinese medicine protocol which is on the website of the md who created it, www.docmisha.com/ She isn't a quack, this is the eastern md who came up with the herb formula that is mass produced. Chinese med can't cure hcv, but sometimes can lower viral load, ease pressure on liver, spleen etc. I'm going to go to that seminar in June/July and get more info about emerging western remedies. I'm happy to copy anything that you think would be useful and to mail it to you. Don't give up hope girl! I get test results today and if tx didn't work, I'm not giving up hope either. Screw you dragon, we're gonna kill you.

        Bev,

I second you on Doc Misha being one of the best. I've been following the protocol since I first found out that I had Hep-C. In the 6 months prior to beginning treatment I was able to reduce my viral load by 500,000, all inflamation of the liver was reduced and I was able to bring all my liver function results into a normal range. All without treatment.

Since I've started treatment I continued on the discribed protocol and became non-detectable somewhere between week 4 and 8. Now, I'm not saying that everyone will get these results. However, I believe that my results do support the fact that there are many ways to deal with this virus and have a normal life.

Stay strong.... have faith... and never give up.

        Hugs,
        Tonjha
