7-9pm Monday June 19

Zheng Chi or "Righteous Chi" is the Chi that is released to eliminate PAIN through the needles of Chinese Acupuncture, an effort that seems to be so much a regular part of my life, as I suffer with my Fibromyalgia flare ups! An entire team of doctors regularly helps me keep a better focus on quality of life, and to minimize the severe pain which plagues me. Medical marijuana is only one of the components for relief.

DISCLAIMER: This is solely an Educational gathering, bringing the public, medical marijuana patients, caregivers, interested parties, and others together for the purpose of discussing answers to questions surrounding the option of medical marijuana in Colorado. ABSOLUTELY no medications will be dispensed and NO DOCTOR will be onsite. RULES PROHIBITION any discussions of specific instances of securing medication with "NO Drug Dealing" allowed in "any way, shape or form" onsite during this educational discussion forum.

This is a tribe of people with a serious liver disease. I stopped promoting the destruction of the liver on this site (I used to think smoking pot was better than sex). Go find a wacky backy tribe to promote your so called medical marijuana on. Respect the people here by not tempting them to kill themselves.

Stan, is that you in the picture?!?!?

I post all that information on chinese medicine all the time, not sure this is that different, but not sure it isn't a 'real' advertisement either.

          Bev,

          Yes that's me.

The difference is that you or someone really believes that Chinese medicine is benefical for HCV infection. Does anyone really believe pot is beneficial for HCV?

That picture is great. If that isn't a pefect picture for the hep c tribe, I don't know what is. Talk about poster child/man of living with hcv quality of life.

I'm leery of the med marijuana thing because a) i'm an addict, b) i think that there are many of us with hep stuff that got it through addiction and it is risky for anyone with the disease of addiction to touch something that is psychoactive, c) i have a co-worker, who has been legally divorced from her hiv positive husband for five years, 5 years, who still gets a card and who leaves the office in the middle of every single day to go to the local med maj club and get high, clearly not a case of medical need or usage, d) everything is processed by liver, and e) there are lots of other options in my thinking before that one should be looked at. Personally, I would/will never do it, and I've dealt with pain so that isn't a totally naive statement.

But, that's me, and I haven't seen up close and personal any positives but that doesn't mean they don't exist. how is that for a back door?

love that picture. good for you stanton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              Bev,

If you love the picture, put yourself in it. Dance really is my heroine. The feeling is the same (don't ask me how I know) and it is totally addictive. But, surrender to dance makes you a stronger and healthier person.

Dancing is wonderful, I should really try to get back in it once my energy increases. As for the wacky tabacky... I've used it on and off over the last few years- for non-medical purposes...... Then when I found out I had Hep. C I thought now I really have a reason to smoke it. But after having researched it and also in talking to other people I've realized how careful I have to be about what I put in my body. I agree with you and Bev. IF there is evidence of beneficial non-western medicine(herbal or otherwise) then we have everyright to try it, which I do believe in. What we DO know is that the weed isn't healthy for the liver to process, so I've made the decision to put only beneficial elements in my body......
