I haven't heard from Bev in a couple of weeks, I'm wondering how she is doing also! As for me I trying to play catch up from getting behind while I was fatiqued. What I can't get done then I'll just close my eyes and pretend it's not there! LOL.........Speaking of Bev, I'll shoot her an email and see if I get a respond.

I know Brock, I never seem to get going on My Space. I looked at it the other day and saw that my 18 yr old daughter had hacked into it and as a joke had written 'I'm gay' in my profile. ( I'm not ) I had plenty of comments then! It's not so hot here now, has been up in the ninties but back to the usual English weather now.
I'll take a peek at your page in a mo.

Catfish,, I hope you get in touch with Bev...

        Hey tribe… I’m still here…

and... Brock, of course I still Like Ya'll....SMILES and Big Hugs

Sorry I’ve not posted much… I’ve just been posting blogs and doing the summer thing.

Our neighborhood is great in the summer… great big cookouts, swimming and now I’m working on a butterfly habitat… just enjoying the last month before I try to go back to work.

I’m still fighting the weight thing and finally got tired of all the hair loss… so I chopped off my hair in celebration of my “TX Half-way point”… I’m not as brave as SOME.. so I did not shave is…. yet (LOL), but it is very short and with all the natural curl it covers the thinning very well… I think it has a kind of “Haley Barry” look… hee hee hee.

I’ll have to get a new picture and post the New Me!!!

        Keep Smiling Guys,

I get migraine Beverly so I can sympathize. Seven days though? At the most I get three days.
            Is this usual for you?
I had monster migraines with treatment. I can still remember lying there in worse pain than childbirth.

I hope you feel better sooon. Are you having to work as well?

                migraine - day 9

I'm loving life. Loving it. <-------sarcasm

My migraines are triggered by hormones or stress or sinus stuff, or other environmental factors. In this case it started with hormones but I can't lick it because I've been in the toxic waste dump building or other construction building sites every single day, sometimes at length. I'm on max Imitrex, bought darker and bigger sunglasses and am taking an herbal remedy to rid toxins and to relieve headaches. I've got the heating pad and ice. I've got my meditation tapes and know my headache qi gong. I do as much as I can per day but the minute I'm in an environmental place, all bets are off. I'm also waking up every morning with it.

Unfortunately, I'm still working on that book and it has a deadline and it has to be correct. Unfortunately I have another seminar to prepare for. Unfortunately I have a very sick dog who requires much attention and visits to the specialist. Unfortunately I am going to tropical storm chris in the Bahamas in under 3 weeks. Unfortunately I was notified yesterday that I have two new tenants moving into huge commercial spaces prior to my departure and I need to do tenant improvements (translation: I could do nothing else but that 10 hours per day until I leave).

And may I add, since I am already in btch mode, that my sister told me that I pack too many things when I travel. What things? Accessories. Hunh? What accessories? All that medication. She lives in her own world doesn't she? I was about to explain that I needed to bring my interferon etc. last time but it would be like explaining something to a rock.

Schedule this morning - tma blood test then to toxic waste building.

So what's this Bahamas thing? I was thinking of going there in Nov. Are you taking a vacation, a well deserved one.....?

Brave girl- I thought of chopping mine off too, but didn't get there. Was taken off treatment so..... I think the next go around on treatment I'm just going to take charge, put aside the fear and chop away.... we'll see though lol.
It's funny- I got an email from the pegasys website the other day... "congratulations, you've hung in there and gotten to your half way mark!!!!.... Good for you!" eeeeehhhhhh I had to laugh at that one! I barely made it to the 3mo mark!! :) But they can go ahead and congratulate me anyways! :)

I'm going to the resort Atlantis w/mom and sis. I'd rather do a naturalist trip but not this year. Hey Mike, when you are better, maybe I can drag you, G and F out camping overnight. Anyway, the concept of the place is that it is the real atlantis underwater and there are pots of aquariums (huge ones) something like that. If is right off the ocean and most of it is seawater pools, one with sharks, one with turtles, one with big fish, one with little fish, one w/manta rays. Last year I watched the manta rays eat. He would flap his fin when he felt he wasn't getting his turn quick enough. Adorable. I, and I can't even believe I did this, went down this huge slide which is completely dark and all turns and then you hit a see through tube in the middle of the shark pond. I nearly peed my pants I was so freaked out, not by the sharks but that ride. And you know, you just know she will convince me to go on it again. At least I hope so, I need to have some fun.

That sounds amazing Beverly. One of those rides you scream all the way through then jump off and shout "Again, again!"
Mike, all those horrible things you have to go through...I hope things improve but I wouldn't let Bev drag you down the shark slide.

I love camping! I used to ackpack a lot when I was a teen, it was a great way to escape my home without actually running away for real.

Tracey, Mike is way darker than me. My past is dull dull dull, his is trés chic.

By the way, six months after treatment bloodtest:

                  alt 35
                  ast 17
The doc and the rn both said 'hmmm, this isn't the result we were looking for'. can you just imagine the look i gave them?

                  Grrrr.

TMA results 7 to 10 days. The alt better be an aberration or there is gonna be trouble. Last test it was 33 and I was negative tma. I was on tons of antibiotics. This time I was on tons of imitrex when I took it so who knows. Gonna be a lllooooooong 7 to 10 days and you may want to pray for any medical receptionist that gets in my path. When I told the rn that I would certainly be calling him in 7 days, he said, I already have it flagged, I can't risk the wrath of bev and laughed. Ha ha, wait until he gets sick and can't get an answer days after it is due.

Coffee next week, maybe SFMOMA? My past is nothing if it ain't dark but tres chic? I think tre pathetique!

ok, well, if you really want the truth, mine is pretty dark too. wanna hear about the time when i, at 14 yo, hitched a ride to the path train from new jersey after a concert and the guys in the car thought it was fun to set my hair on fire? wanna hear about when they went the wrong direction on purpose and started to park? pretty dark if you ask me. and it was dark! i sussed out the guy that was appearing to have morality issues and appealed to him and he stopped all that and got me to the path train unharmed except for part of my mane. ah, the good old days.

we're definitely getting together sir. i just have to finish this book. searching in other tabs right this moment for hepatitis sites and colleges and clinics. i have a deadline of monday am.

Alt apparently does go up and down Beverly, quite common after treatment. My alt was 18 three months after treatment and 23 at six months but they told me this was normal and I had been necking down a lot of painkillers for my back. Best of luck..... I know..all that waiting.

Oooooh, dark pasts..If only I could remember????

lol Tracey. When people ask me if I knew such and such and went here or did this or that, I have no idea. People have come up to me and said, hey, long time no see and I have no idea who they are. I call it 'lack of substance induced memory'.

yeah, if my tma was negative at 33, it is only 2 points up and i should chill. can't of course. my doc said that i may be one of those people who just has an elevated alt period, and the rn said that he has seen people have an alt that goes up and down for 2 years post treatment before it stabilizes. aren't they sweet for trying to make me feel better. i confess that i said to both of them, i insist you tell me something positive here and when they didn't insisted a bit more. hey, the world needs to survive with me in for the next 7 to 10 days. he he.

High gang, I'm back. Was back out in nature at the junkyard and the wheather was beautifull. It started to get a little hot today so I finally came home. I was feeling like superman yesterday (must have overdone it cause I'm tired).
Dark past? Does years and years in prison count?

Five years Brock..Long time. I spent one day in prison and the cops bought me fish & chips (I don't expect you know what that is? Fish in batter and potato chips, a traditional English meal that is pretty disgusting) Was it dark in prison?

Beverly...Doubts are doubts. I still keep doubting after my six month all clear. I thought today it was back because my liver area hurt like hell and I felt sickish but it turns out I have eaten something manky or picked up a sick bug. Delightful

manky? can you be a bit more descriptive? this many be my new favorite word.

ok, so, I'm non-detectable. I'm hoping in the next few days that will mean something. But, and I could use some info here, first I was told that if I had an early viral response that was the ticket, then I was told that it was the 4 week negative tma was the big excitement and really meant something, then I was told the three month was the one, and then I was told it was the sixth tma that really was an indicator, then the one 3/4 tx, then the one at the end of treatment. Ok, so then it was 3 months after the end of treatment, and next 6 months after treatment. what comes after that? when in a girl allowed to relax?

Relax anyways Bev and say F*** it all and enjoy your trip. Non Detect is fab!!! But what I was told is that after the first 3 mo of treatment you come up non-dectec. then that means it's doing it's job , all is going well (in the evil docs eyes) Then after you've completed your full year and have stopped treatment (if you are doing the 1 year?) and you come up non detec. 6mo. post treatment, You've "cleared" the virus..... hope that helps!?!!!?!?! xoxoxo

Love it, stealing it. Want some fish and chips to go with it.

Pretty exciting. My doc just asked me to do a prologue for her book about my experience and at least I can say it worked and not just focus on the screaming harpy portion of the thing. New ladies, in a riba rage I told a client that I wouldn't talk to her until she stopped acting like a screaming harpy.
