Fri, October 27, 2006 - 10:08 PMYes Amber and depending upon how dark, that can be a not good thing. Did you just get infected? Do you drink lots of water? Does your liver/spleen hurt? Is it only first thing in the am? -

Re: is
Sun, October 29, 2006 - 11:09 AMbefore you jump to any dire conclusions Amber, the most common cause of dark urine is not enough fluids, water to be precise. try a few good solid days of at least 8 ounces every hour and see if that doesn't help.
you only have a liver on your right side, so your left side pain and discomfort my be a whole other general abdominal issue other than the hep c, something as simple as heart burn
I recommend you shop around to see what type of medical assistance you have available in your area, the department of health services is a good place to start. you sound like you could use a good overall medical checkup
hep c is a tricky little bastard and can effect your overall health long before it actually does any true liver damage, my prayers are with you

Thu, November 9, 2006 - 1:25 PMMy urine is typically dark when I have not drunk enough water to the point of almost a brown color. YOU have to drink water!!! When I was on treatment I drank about 10 glasses a day (alot for me) and my urine did lighten up. I'd try that first.

Thu, November 9, 2006 - 2:14 PMDark urine could just mean your not drinking enough water. Dont know if it could be hep c related.
Other than that, how ya been doin Amber? -

Sat, November 11, 2006 - 6:16 PMWell I didnt clear the virus... I still have hep C, but it's great to feel normal and enjoy life. I did'nt always enjoy life when I was on treatment, but I live each day to the fullest now, and enjoy each minute of it. -

Re: is
Mon, November 13, 2006 - 10:11 AMHi Amber...Yes, good days and bad days come with hep c. I used to feel like I was always going down with something but never did. Always headachy and tired.
I meant to say left side too in my previous post not right.
I hope you feel better soon. Keep drinking the water.
