Well kids one year down, 4 inches of hair, gaining about 1 1/2 lbs a week, starting to feel human again.

The dreaded but expected call comes, the dragon has returned for a repeat performance. Oh, well its all familiar territory at this stage.

Got a year of down time and reflection, and met all my good friends here, perhaps worth the journey afterall.

On to better and brighter life events and me and the dragon can cozy up for the long haul.

How's the rest of the gang out there, loooong time no hear?

Oh Sherril... I'm so sorry, but you are a true warrior and will be fine. Of this I have no doubts.

I have been off the meds for 3 months and just had the follow-up labs done, of course I will need to wait to see what is up.

I am also beginning to feel human again and have regained a few pounds and a few inches of hair. The strange thing is my hair is coming back STRAIGHT... I've always had kinky curly hair and now it is almost bone straight. Hell a lifetime of figuring out what to do with curly hair... down the drain... LOL. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get use to the Cherokee look... SMILES.

Hang in there sweetie.... BIG HUGS,
    T

Sherril...sorry to hear the news. After all the effort! It's not an easy ride by any means this treatment.
I'm glad your feeling a bit more human.
What are your plans now? At least you know your liver has had a rest from the dragon and that's good. I'm just so sorry it's back.

I've got my year pcr results on Wednesday of this week. I tell myself what will be will be, it'll be one or the other but I can imagine the dissapointment if it returns.

I'm back to normal (whatever that is) and back to my normal weight. My hair's grown back but it looked pretty stupid for a while with bits sticking up here and there and then I went through the ridge stage where there seemed to be a ridge aound my head about halfway down (or maybe my halo slipped?)

Would you consider trying the new treatment VX950 that comes out in a year or two?

    Hi
Don't worry to much, there are a lot off good products out there, however; I'll share with you the best product I tried, and the
one that cure me from the dragon. that product is "Polypodium XP" is natural, without side effect and work from the first week of
    treatment.
    In just 5 month my virus went from 1 756 043 rna-hcv to < 10.

If only it were true that something natural, without side effects would kill the dragon.. It's a well known fact that nothing does at present apart from the combo therapy.

There are many snake oil salesmen trying to push their wares on vulnerable people, the only thing they'll get rid of is their cash.

Some of these products are also very harmful and some just interfere with the blood tests making it look like you have a log drop, when in fact that is not true.

People have been through hell with this treatment, please don't try and rip them off and promise something you cannot deliver.

People's lives are at stake here.
