How is it going? Have you created a groove from your door to Kaiser's front door? Are you feeling any better? Worse? Say No to that last question pls. Is there anything the tribe can do for you?

They say good news comes in 3s. 1) I'm undetectable, 2) vet just called and said new treatment for bisou appears to be working, i.e., hopefully slowing descent to kidney failure, and 3) this one is open for you. Don't disappoint me, now...

I have good days and I have bad days this week seems to be a bloating week despite the drainage of 3 liters of yucky looking fluid. Yeah I thank Kaiser should just give me quarters there since I spend so much time there. Oh well don't have to go back until Monday so that's a relief. Of course they could spring a nasty surprise on me as has been done inthe past like that transfusion I had to run back for.

Today also seems to be one of my down days just feeling lonely and meloncohly and yes anger creeps in too. Like I said good days/weeks bad days/weeks.

I am so happy and thrilled to hear about you and Bisou beleive it or not hereing good news about what's going on in friends lives realy helps... XXOOO

Great news about Bisou beverly. I'm having a time with a bereved guinea pig right now and trying to teach my daughter to cook as she's going away to uni soon. I will soon be childless and I can't wait.
Mike, i hate the thought of that drainage you have to go through. it used to be bad enough going to the hospital once a month, what a drag for you. Hope things get better soon and you feel a bit happier.

I have some good news mike. They are giving me permits to drive to college and my support groups and they will eventually reinstate me for a drivers liscence. They did'nt give me my liscence because I'm classified level 3 (Dependent in Remision).
I got my car registered and titled and got me some SR22 insurance, now I have to wait a few days and take my drivers tests and mail in my fees. Hopefully I'll have my permits before my classes start on the 21st.

good news Brock, great to be mobile.

I had two speeding fines on treatment, I'm sure the riba made me drive faster or something. If I get one more they take away my license (gulp) so, driving like a granny now.
            Is your insurance pricey?

what is dependent remission? well, whatever, things are getting better and better for you brock. you are quite the mover and shaker these days.

i got into two car accidents on interferon, pulled over twice for no seatbelt ($50 a pop) and about 5 tickets ($40 a pop). and i still haven't washed my car since before I started treatment. I can't look at it after the last accident.

                You did well Bev
I haven't washed mine, seems wasted energy, Paid my 15 yr old 5 pounds to wash it but he just washed the side I can see from the window and ran off with the five quid.

I was really suprised how afordable the insurance was Tracey, I'm on the six month plan- I put $70.00 down then pay 5 payments of $23.00.

Dependent in remission means that I was a hardcore alcoholic but I am no longer drinking. They basicaly think that I dont stand a snowballs chance in hell of staying sober.

we'll that sounds real supportive!!! What assholes!

Unfortunatly my brother in law who completed treatment and was in remission started drinking again. I was like, why would you put yourself through all the hell of a year of treatment and then go and do something that may bring the Hep. C. back!! I don't get it...

Alcohol is cunning, baffeling, and powerfull. Having regular contact with the people from my church and the messianic congregation I belong to help to keep me sober.

I think it's always there lingering in the background. Sometimes you hear it sniggering behind you and if turn to look it creeps round to the front and there it is, staring you in the face. It wasn't alcohol with me.
                            Keep strong Brock
