she said my viral load is 40.1 thousand and that is it type 1A. She is going to refer me to a gastroenterologist (sp?) so we can get the treatment process underway. I am pretty frightened about going through all the horrible side effects I have been reading about and I hope that I will be one of the luckier ones. My best friend just called and said she was doing some research on the net and she found a website promoting Mesosilver. I seems well worth a try before I put myself through treatments but if those testimonies are for real then why aren't dr's trying it? Has anyone here tried it?

Sat, July 28, 2007 - 2:42 AMHi Adriana..
At least you know a little more now and your in the system, so to speak. Are they going to do a biopsy first to check the state of your liver? It may be little affected by the virus and then it could even pay to wait for the new treatments that are on the horizon and area lot easier than the interferon/Ribavirin treatment. trials are being done on these treatment right now.
I do remember searching the net and coming across lots of potions and things that made miraculous claims, but I would be wary about taking anything if I were you. No doubt there are some herbal treatments which can help protect and treat the liver but none of these has been tested.
The only treatment that's known to work is the current treatment, (the 48 weeks in your case) I have been in touch with a lot of people online, on various forums and treatment is easy for some, for others it's doable and for a small percentage it's tough. I fell into the middle section and it wasn't too bad..just headaches and tiredness.
Good luck whatever you decide and keep us posted on what's happening.
